Ok, so you keep hearing about couples hooking up after meeting online and living happily ever after. Meanwhile, you’re hitting Send/Receive every 10 minutes and coming up dry. What’s with that?
Well, the harsh reality is that the right suitors will never get to the magnificent profile prose that you spent hours agonizing over if you’ve got a grainy old picture of you taken at 20 paces in a baseball hat and sunglasses.
Or, maybe you’re getting responses, but ewwww! Not a good match for whatever reason.
Maybe, just maybe, it’s a good picture, but not really representing the type of person you are.
My goal is to get a picture of you that’s flattering AND says who you really are – the best hope you have of hooking up with the right person!
How it works:

Before the shoot, I give you some pointers about what to wear, how to get in the mood for the shoot etc.

I show up at your place (or another mutually agreeable location in the Greater Portland area) with Betsy (my magical Canon EOS 30D Digital SLR), my trusty laptop and scanner.

We talk about what we’re trying to accomplish, get you relaxed and ready to go.

We spend an hour or so scanning decent pictures you may have and/or taking new ones, going through them on my computer, doing some touchup on them, having a few laughs.

If you want, we put the pictures up on your dating site.

Hey, I'll even read through your profile and give you some feedback if there’s time, because, you see, I can’t help myself. I’m a grammar/spelling Nazi at the very least, some even say I’m a decent writer. To top it off, ya, I've been an online dater myself, so I feel your pain and want to help!
