We’re not talking bogus glamour shots here - you’re done playing games, and have come to embody the Popeye truth – ‘I yam what I yam’. Although I'll make sure you look your best (yes, I know Photoshop Botox procedures) your inner wisdom, beauty, strength, and integrity pervade your outer shell and far outshine your physical trappings – think Maya Angelou, Indira Ghandi, Jimmy Carter…
I’ll be asking questions, like ‘What’s the best sex you ever had?’ or ‘Tell me something special about your son’ or ‘If you had a bazillion dollars, how would you make the world a better place?’ to bring out expressions of pride, delight, thoughtfulness, wisdom, maturity, joy, love… that will let the world know your magic now and forevermore.
Don’t worry, you don’t really have to TELL me the answers (like about the best sex you ever had) just reliving them in your head will give me the expressions I’m looking for!
How it works:

Before the shoot, I’ll give you some pointers about what to wear, how to get in the mood for the shoot etc.

I show up at your place (or another mutually agreeable location in the Greater Portland area) with Betsy (my magical Canon EOS 30D Digital SLR) and my trusty laptop.

We talk about what we’re trying to accomplish, get you relaxed and ready to go

We have fun shooting for an hour, maybe an hour and a half, taking 50 - 75 shots. We’ll look at the shots periodically on my laptop to make sure we’re on the right path, and by the end of the session, get down to 20 – 30 that you think have potential.

I’ll go back to my cave and work with the good shots – do some minor editing, cropping, retouching, changing to black/white etc.

I’ll upload the images to Printroom, a top quality photo printing service. You (and your friends and family!) be able to order top quality prints from there if you please. | |
